Dave Chapelle and Elizabeth Smart.
It seems Dave Chappelle was right in telling off Elizabeth Smart in his 2004 stand up release, For What It's Worth. For yet again little Elizabeth has been shown up by another, younger, abducted kid. According to CNN.com, 13-year-old Clay Moore was abducted at gunpoint from a Parrish, Florida bus stop and left bound alone to a tree in a field. Soon after, Clay was able to cut through his bonds with a safety pin and escape. Afterwards, Clay walked a "considerable distance" until he found a farmer who let him use a cell phone to call his mother.
In Chappelle's stand up release he mocks Smart for not being able to escape her captors in comparison to little 7-year-old Erica Pratt. Pratt was abducted in 2002 and was able to chew through duct tape covering her face, feet and hands and then broke through a screen door in the first 24 hours of her disappearance.
I for one, am tired of hearing about the "plight" of Elizabeth Smart. That girl deserved to be gone so long, she practically asked for it. In regards to Erica Pratt and Clay Moore, kudos for being street enough to bite/tear through your restraints.

Excuse me? "Asked for it"? A 14-year-old girl "asked" to be kidnapped, raped, terrorized, and held hostage by two psychopaths? Wtf is your mental problem???!!! You apparently can't differentiate between a boy tied up with rope and a girl tied up with a WIRE CABLE. How was she supposed to get free of a wire cable? She tried cutting it with a knife and the knife wasn't strong enough. I will also add that she was repeatedly raped and abused, whereas Clay and Pratt apparently were not harmed. Do you know what the mental, emotional, and psychological effects of being repeatedly raped are?? And those two kids were LEFT ALONE. THAT is why they were able to escape. Elizabeth was NEVER left alone during her captivity, save one time in California, but by that time she had been held captive for so long that she'd lost the will to escape. Do you really believe that Erica Pratt and Clay Moore would have been able to escape if their captors had been watching them? Get real! No one "deserves" to be forcibly separated from everthing and everyone they know for any length of time. Dave Chappelle was incredibly insensitive and so are you if you believe any of his garbage. Look up Stockholm Syndrome and the term "Psychological Leash", and read about the case before you start comparing Elizabeth Smart to kids who are kidnapped for purposes other than sexual abuse and religious fanaticism.
